- Breastfeeding Basics ClassAn interactive class with a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and 4-8 couples.Topics discussed are: risk factors for low milk supply, tips for maximizing milk production, techniques for getting breastfeeding off to a good start/how to avoid common breastfeeding pitfalls, and how to prepare for returning to work/pump routines.1.5-2 hour class, $55/couple
- Telephone Prenatal Quick Start ClassThis private class is conducted over the telephone by an IBCLC. After a discussion of your personal breast/chestfeeding goals, Stacy will review your personal health history, assess for any risk factors for low milk supply and then provide you with a personalized plan for getting breast/chestfeeding off to a good start. You will also be provided with the information needed to identify if your baby is getting enough to eat if you choose to direct breast/chestfeed. If your goal is to exclusively pump, you will be provided with the information needed to establish and maintain a healthy milk supply using a breast pump.30-45 minutes, $60
- Private Prenatal ConsultA private prenatal consult is a one-on-one private meeting with an IBCLC and family members of your choice in attendance.
You will receive all of the information that is provided in the Breastfeeding Basics class, as well as a review of your personal medical history to determine if you have any pre-existing conditions that may impact lactation. In addition, a breast exam can be conducted to assess for signs of insufficient glandular tissue if desired.
One Hour, $200
- COMPREHENSIVE IN-PERSON LACTATION CONSULTA private lactation consult is typically a 1-1½ hour visit
The IBCLC will take your medical history, examine you and your infant, and will assist you with positioning your infant at the breast to make breast/chestfeeding more comfortable. Your infant will be weighed before and after feeding and you will learn how well he/she is able to transfer milk from the breast.
At the conclusion of the visit, you will be given detailed instructions and recommendations to facilitate your breastfeeding success. Unlimited telephone support is provided after your visit.

- Virtual Lactation ConsultUsing a secure HIPPA compliant video platform, you will “meet” with an IBCLC for a 1-1.5 hour video consult. A thorough history will be obtained, an oral assessment will be made with the use of still pictures and video as needed, and an observation of the infant’s behavior at the breast will be done. You will have time to ask questions, and will receive a breastfeeding care plan to assist you in meeting your breastfeeding goals. One telephone follow up call is included with the consult fee. **Please have a 2nd adult available to assist with holding your phone, tablet or computer at the proper angle to adequately view the baby’s latch, as well as, good lighting available. Payment will be taken over the phone with an HSA/FSA card, or credit card.
Virtual Lactation Consult, $250
- Virtual Flange FitThe participant will provide two short pumping video clips to the IBCLC and the fit of current flanges being used will be assessed with recommendations provided for an improved fit.$40
- Telephone ConsultCan cover a variety of topics
Examples include (but not limited to): returning to work, low milk supply concerns, introducing solids, and how to wean.
Telephone Consult – simple $60; complex $115
